Department Purpose
The City Manager's office is responsible for administering those programs that are established by the City Council. The office directs and coordinates the daily operation of all City departments and informs and advises the City Council regarding transactions, budgets and general issues relating to the orderly operation of the City.

- To coordinate and facilitate City Council activities and programs
- To supervise the City staff in such a way as to provide the most efficient and effective use of existing manpower and equipment
- To provide the City Council with information in a timely manner
- To initiate programs and activities that effectively resolve problems
