Book: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Science Experiment: Compare and contrast a white egg and a brown egg.
Synopsis: We will be learning about the life and works of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King wanted everyone to be equal and have equal rights, he was a very important figure in the civil rights movement. In lieu of a craft today we will be having a compare and contrast science experiment. We will note the differences of the two eggs on our worksheet. Then, we will crack them both open. Will they look different on the inside as well?
During our Story Time program, children will learn critical Early Literacy Skills through music, dancing, and singing, as well as reading! Our program is geared toward children ages 2-5, however, children of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun! Every Wednesday at 10am we will gather for a 20-30 minute circle time and afterwards we will make a craft that follows up our story for the day.
