The Finance Department is responsible for the proper, accurate, and timely recording of collections and disbursements of city funds and the reporting of these transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
This department develops, coordinates, and monitors the city's spending plans, including the annual operating budget and capital improvement program. The department is also responsible for cash management and investments, processes receipts of city monies, and performs payroll distribution.
