 The Utility Billing Office is committed to providing high-quality service through friendly customer relations. Our office is responsible for the overall billing and monitoring of the Water, Sewer and Garbage Services for residents located within the City limits.

Types of payments accepted are cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and online payments.

Online Payments

The City of Dayton now offers online utility payments! There is a 3% convenience fee plus a $0.35 transaction fee. First-time users will need to register.

Residential & Commercial Garbage

• Residential Rates are $22.95, plus tax with weekly pick-ups.

• Residential Extra Can Rates are $6.83, plus tax. 

• Commercial Rates are $37.32, plus tax with weekly pick-ups.

• Commercial Extra Can Rates are $25.25, plus tax.

In Case of an Emergency

For concerns about major safety hazards, water outages, or if an emergency arises on a weekend or after 5pm, please contact the Dayton Police Department at 936-258-7621 and the appropriate department will be notified.

For emergency calls that are not the City of Dayton's responsibility, you could be subject to a service charge for the call.
